아트선재센터는 사운드 아티스트 타렉 아투이의 《더 레인》 어린이 워크숍 <더 하이브> 를 진행합니다. 타렉 아투이는 세계 여러 전통악기 및 음악사를 탐구하며 직접 제작한 일렉트로닉 악기와 컴퓨터를 통해 소리를 인식하는 일반적인 사고방식을 해체합니다. <더 하이브> 는 한국의 전통 악기를 기반으로 비전통적인 방법으로 연주하며 파장의 움직임과 소리를 감각하며 하나의 퍼포먼스를 완성합니다. 일상적인 사물과 움직임을 통해 시각과 촉각으로서의 소리로 경험하며 소리를 다각적으로 탐구할 수 있는 가능성을 모색합니다.

Art Sonje Center presents the children's workshop "The Hive" by Tarek Atoui, in conjunction with the exhibition The Rain. Atoui deconstructs conventional perspectives on sound by exploring diverse global traditional instruments and developing electronic counterparts interfaced with computers. "The Hive" offers participants, aged 8-11, a distinctive opportunity to engage with Korean traditional instruments in unconventional ways, utilizing sophisticated techniques that involve sensing the movement and sound waves to complete a unique performance. This workshop guides participants through an exploration of sound, fostering a deeper understanding through visual and tactile experiences with common, everyday objects.
